It's natural to want our children to excel in secular sciences in a world filled with endless opportunities, like excelling in math, physics, chemistry, coding, creative writing, and such.

But as we navigate the path of parenthood, let's not forget the crucial lesson from the Prophet (ﷺ) himself: “When the human being dies, his deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1631)

Don't overlook the spiritual nourishment of your little one. It must be the priority.

Encourage them to memorize the Quran, a gift that enlightens hearts and minds alike. 🤲

Nourish their soul as it is the soil for all the seeds of knowledge to get planted and grow into beneficial trees. 🌳

And always pray and speak good about them. Our words are our prayers. Angel may say Ameen on some occasions.
